Clifford Bernier’s The Silent Art won the 2010 Gival Press Poetry Award. Cliff is also the author of two poetry chapbooks, Earth Suite and Dark Berries. He has appeared on the NPR show, “The Poet and the Poem from the Library of Congress.” Cliff has been featured in readings from Los Angeles to Washington, DC and has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and a Best of the Net Award. His harmonica poems can be found on YouTube. His next print appearance will be in the forthcoming The Write Blend, a collection of poems from a diverse group of DC-area poets.
Ellen Prentiss Campbell’s short stories have appeared in numerous journals and beenrecognized by the Pushcart Press. Her first collection, Contents Under Pressure, was nominated for the National Book Award. A new collection is forthcoming in 2020. Her 2016 debut novel The Bowl with Gold Seams received the Indy Excellence Award for Historical Fiction and she is at work on a new novel. She reviews for The Fiction Writers Review, The Washington Independent and The New York Journal of Books. The recipient of an MFA from The Bennington Writing Seminars and several fellowships from The Virginia Center for The Creative Arts, Ellen also practiced psychotherapy for many years. She and her husband live in Washington, D.C.
