The 5th Annual Montgomery County GreenFest

You’re invited to the County’s biggest party to celebrate our environment: the Montgomery County GreenFest!

This year, GreenFest is Sunday, April 28 at Brookside Gardens in celebration of Earth Day.  Grab the family and explore the beautiful spring gardens, and discover new and fun ways you can do your part locally, nationally, and around the world, to protect our environment.

GreenFest has activities for all ages:

  • Enjoy live performances, including dancers and musicians
  • Check out kids’ tree climbing activities with Montgomery Parks
  • Explore arts and crafts demos and the electric vehicle and car show
  • Attend a workshop or DIY demo
  • Explore 80 exhibitors and vendors
  • Grab a bite to eat at a food truck
  • And much more!

For the latest info and updates on the schedule, visit montgomerycountygreenfest.org.  Add GreenFest to your calendar: http://bit.ly/GreenFest-2019

Whether you drive or take public transit, head to the Glenmont Metro and take the free shuttle to GreenFest.

Montgomery County will provide sign language interpreters and other auxiliary aids or services upon request — with as much advance notice as possible, preferably at least three (3) business days before GreenFest. Contact us at 240-777-7753 (voice) or send a request to askdep@montgomerycountymd.gov. Taking these steps will help us have sufficient time to best meet your needs.

The Montgomery County GreenFest is brought to you by the Montgomery County Government, Montgomery Parks and Brookside Gardens, WSSC, Poolesville Green, Bethesda Green, One Montgomery Green, the Cities of Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Takoma Park, University of Maryland Extension, and MCPS Outdoor Environmental Education Programs.
