About this Event
View map Free EventTaste of Bethesda returns on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11am-4pm and will bring numerous downtown Bethesda restaurants and five stages of entertainment to Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. Produced by the Bethesda Urban Partnership, downtown Bethesda’s famous food and music festival celebrates 31 years of diverse and delectable cuisine offered by Bethesda’s local restaurant community.
“We’re thrilled to have the Taste of Bethesda return and welcome the community back to our marquis community festival,” said Jeff Burton, Executive Director of the Bethesda Urban Partnership. “This year’s event will feature nearly 40 restaurants as well as live entertainment, offering a wonderful opportunity to savor new menu creations while supporting our local eateries.”
Taste of Bethesda is located on Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray and Auburn Avenues in the heart of Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. Four stages showcase musical performances, and a children’s area featuring art and craft activities and balloons will provide additional entertainment for young visitors.
As downtown Bethesda continues to grow, several new restaurants will debut at Taste of Bethesda this year: Chaia Tacos, Chiko, Corella Café and Lounge, Hawkers, Oishii Ramen and Tea Bar, Paris in Town, Seventh State and Tacombi among others. Returning favorites such as Alatri Bros., Bethesda Curry Kitchen, Duck Duck Goose, Hanara Sushi, Momo Chicken + Grill, Medium Rare, Tout de Sweet and many more will also be in attendance this year. This year, attendees will also be able to enjoy beer and wine from participating Taste of Bethesda restaurants.
Admission to Taste of Bethesda is free. Tickets will be sold on-site to “taste” different foods, beer and wine; tickets are $5 for four tickets and a serving costs one to four tickets. Beer and wine will be $8 for one ticket. The event is located three blocks from the Bethesda Metro station. Free parking is also available in downtown Bethesda’s public garages. The free Bethesda Circulator will transport visitors to and from the Bethesda Metro station and public garages.
Teaming up and serving as sponsors for the festivities will be Suburban Hospital, Amazon Fresh, The St. James, Renewal by Andersen, and MoCo 360.
