Open Your Heart to a Nation of Peace

Our government leaders need our good wishes and positive energy. With partisan feelings high and the partial government shutdown continuing, many people are suffering. We sense that the hearts of our leadership have tightened and that ego is getting in the way of their service to the nation. It’s time we lead with our humanity.
What if you were calm? And I was calm? And we were calm, together, just for a moment?
Join us as the Meditation Museum and LiveaMoment's Global Pause bring together a coalition of civic leaders, organizations and community members committed to bringing moments of Pause to the Congress and acknowledge some organizations doing the work around the globe!
Sister Jenna, director of the Meditation Museums and host of America Meditating Radio will interview Congressman Jamie Raskin (MD) who will discuss the climate on the Hill and offer practical suggestions of what each of us could do to encourage and support a unified Congress.
Deborah Greene, "The Peace Traveler" and Founder/CEO of will discuss the LiveaMoment movement dedicated to the worldwide creation, support and funding of peace initiatives through social impact and technology and the growing collaborative effort to institute LiveaMoment's Global Pause within the national conversation and share how we can all join in Monday moments of pause in support of Congress.
John Marino from the Love Button Global Movement will provide an overview of the Love Button Movement and discuss our intention to influence this Congress to open their hearts towards compassion and civility.
We will also hold another special meditation to encircle the U.S. Congress with our good wishes to open their hearts to peace.
Please spread the word about this important event to your friends and family – all are invited. The more people who attend, the more powerful our thoughts will be for our leaders. Research shows that collective, united thoughts by well-intended people do make a difference.
