http://eatpicnicexplore.comA museum picnic experience for our history lovers! Enjoy a luxury picnic on the grounds of the Seneca Schoolhouse, a one-room school in Seneca, Maryland. Your styled picnic set up overlooks the beautiful schoolhouse made of the famous Seneca Sandstone (the same stone used to construct the Smithsonian Institution’s Castle). Relish every last bite of your artfully presented charcuterie board by Graze & Savor, included with your picnic, and then explore the grounds of the schoolhouse. You’ll even have the opportunity to look inside the museum to discover what learning looked like at a country school in the 1880s. Advance reservations required.
