On Sunday, January 17th, there will be a special pop up by La Tejana serving Rio Grande Valley-style breakfast tacos (migas). La Tejana, recently named by the Washington Post as Three taco shops that you need in your life right now and named one of The D.C. area’s 10 best casual restaurants of 2020 is popping up outside of the exit of the Takoma Park Farmers Market on the corner of Eastern and Laurel St NW (across from Takoma Streetery with community outdoor dining area on Laurel Avenue). Partners Ana-Maria Jaramillo and her fiance, Gus May, a Takoma Park native, are the team behind La Tejana, and make everything by hand, including the tortillas. Veg options available too. Get them before they sell out!
