Henna Workshop

A one-hour workshop for children (12+) and adults

Learn from a master artist how to use henna to create beautiful patterns on your skin.  Henna, a dye prepared from the henna plant, has been used since antiquity to dye skin, hair, fingernails, and feet. Join Amtul Ahmed to learn this beautiful form of body decoration that has been an important part of holiday and life cycle celebrations in North Africa, the Middle East, and India.  Ms. Ahmed is a master henna artist whose skills are in high demand for weddings, parties, and other social gatherings.
