On Sunday, October 6, join KID Museum and the Embassy of Guatemala to experience Guatemalan culture through traditional hands-on activities, authentic Guatemalan food, and live performances.

Weave Guatemalan-inspired textile patterns on a cardboard loom. Use a scroll saw to build a flying quetzal bird (Guatemala's national symbol). Make a tissue paper Barillete kite to fly outside, and much more!

Enjoy traditional dance performances by Awal Maya Danza at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. 

Sabores de Guatemala will add to the festivities by selling traditional food such as tostada, rellenito, and chuchito (cash payment only).

All are invited! Activities are suitable for kids ages 4+

General admission: $12 (includes one child + two adults)
