Join us on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM for a stress relief movement dance class with a purpose! Dancing with a Purpose is a Lupus Awareness Dance Workshop and Fundraiser, led by choreographer, instructor, and Lupus Warrior Justine Parker. Let go of stress and move to the beat while raising awareness and funds for the Lupus Foundation.

This event, presented by JusRédor and the Lupus Foundation, is a movement workshop hosted at Unity Dance & Movement Studio in Bethesda, MD.

After the dance class, we will close out with a panel discussion featuring Lupus advocates and health coaches to share information and answer questions. All ages are welcome to join us in support of a greater cause. 5% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Lupus Foundation to help raise awareness and find a cure for lupus.

Instructors:

Movement Instructor: Justine Parker, is a dancer, model, content creator, and founder of JusRédor Collection. She specializes in commercial dance, heels technique, hip hop, and dancehall. With 15+yrs of experience, Justine trained with renowned instructors and companies, incl: Future Shock DC and National Basketball Association, Washington Wizards, Jr. Wizard Dance Team.

Despite her lupus diagnosis, her passion, drive, and determination set her apart. Justine has not let her condition hinder her love for dance and, instead, has used her perseverance to rebuild her mobility. Justine has worked on multiple performances, music videos, photoshoots, and creative projects and founded JusRédor Collection.

As the founder of JusRédor Collection, which showcases her creativity and style, Justine provides Eco-friendly Bamboo Athleisure Wear clothing for those who seek a better choice for their skin and the environment. Justine continues to shape the lives of both children and adults through dance and wellness.

Meditation Instructor: Lady Kay is a Certified Integrative Health Coach, Yoni Steam Practitioner and Womb Wellness advocate. Within the last decade she has been devoted to her own soul care journey through mindfulness, intentional living, and guiding women to themselves on a holistic level. In 2021, she created SunSoulistic, a Feminine Wellness company, designed to hold sacred spaces for women to connect with their divine feminine and cultivate peace on and off their period.
