Be Your Best Fest includes performances, games, activities, information tables, crafts, giveaways, and more! Be Your Best Fest celebrates everything that encourages us to live our best lives and be our best selves. There will be fun activities for all ages. This event is rain or shine.

The festivities kick off with an official ribbon cutting! The City of Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council, Gaithersburg Department of Public Works, Casey Community Center staff, contractors with Brawner Builders, Inc., and local residents will gather to officially open the new pedestrian bridge located at O’Neal Drive and Nancy Place.

Following the ribbon cutting, the fun continues at Casey Community Center for Be Your Fest Fest 2023!

Be Entertained

Enjoy a magic show, a performance from everyone's favorite magical character from Columbia, a karate demonstration and a wonderful performance from ArtStream, Inc.

Be Active

Sample various recreation classes like yoga, hula, dance and Essentrics. Register for your free sample fitness class below.

Be Creative

Create one of the numerous crafts available for kids and adults, participate in our community art project, and take a self a one of the many photo opportunities.

Be a Bee

Explore an exciting honeybee exhibit and do the bee waggle dance with Norma Bell, local bee expert.

Be Safe

Meet with City of Gaithersburg police officers and tour their official police vehicle.

Be Engaged

Learn more about the services of the City of Gaithersburg and the Department of Parks Recreation and Culture. Representatives from Casey Community Center, Community Services, the Financial Empowerment Center, Aquatics, Mini Golf, Benjamin Gaither Center, Community Museum, Arts Barn, Youth Services, the City's Multicultural Affairs Committee and Gaithersburg Book Festival Committee.

Be Informed

Meet with local organizations like Maryland Legal Aid, Montgomery County Public Libraries, the American Red Cross, EveryMind, Manna, The Basics and more!

Be Nourished

Buy some delicious tacos and treats from local Latin-American restaurant, Don Jorge's.

Be Happy
